One of my stops today was at the JUDO Baby booth to check out their latest creation that will be coming to the Nintendo Wii. The game is titled Jerry Rice & Nitus’ Dog Football. While this may seem like a strange title coming out of nowhere, it actually is the first in a series of titles for a new family of games that feature pets and the Pets Sports League. Jerry Rice is the Commissioner of this league, and also an unlockable character in the game.
As far as Jerry Rice & Nitus’ Dog Football goes, the game is definitely a family friendly title that should appeal to girls and boys as well as their parents and animal lovers. It is easy to use, follows basic football rules and features a bunch of canines that each have their own football strengths that follow their natural strengths. To get some valuable insight, check out the video of a demo presented to me by game designer Scott Matt, as he shows off what the title can do and some more game details.
