Over the long holiday weekend, Capcom released a new trailer for th upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom 3 which highlights all of the characters that have been announced for the game thus far. I still consider this roster to be extremely impressive; not only have the developers packed in a ton of fresh faces, but each and every character really seems to be unique and enjoyable. I have yet to see a character that I don’t have any interest in trying out... which is rare for me. You can check out the trailer below.
The complete achievement list for the Xbox 360 version of the game has also made its way to the internet, shining some light on a couple of the various modes and features of the games. These achievements should correspond one for one with the PlayStation Network trophies for the game as well. First off, the achievements that relate to the mission mode(s) of the game indicate that there may be a cap of 320 missions in the game, and judging by the previously released screenshots of that mode we know that each character has 10 missions. We already know 32 characters for the game... perhaps the entire roster has already be filled out and there won’t be any more characters coming for the base game. This doesn’t rule out any additional DLC though... and technically 2 of those 32 characters have been announced as DLC, so maybe there are two more characters to be announced... which leads to...
One of the achievements is entitled Fate of the Satsui no Hadou, and requires you to “decide who is the true master of the fist in a Xbox Live match”. We already know that Ryu is in the game, but what other student of the Hadou arts has been announced aside from the rumor of Akuma? Perhaps he is the final Capcom character to be announced (though I was really hoping for a confirmation on Mike Haggar). Oh well, only a little over a month left to go. You can read all of the game's achievements on the next page if you are interested...
