As with many games,
Total War: Shogun 2 will have a limited edition available for purchase. It's basically a "while supplies last" situation where early purchasers have an opportunity to get additional items. The perks of the limited edition include a unique playable faction, an additional historical battle scenario, a set of armor for your online avatar and an XP bonus for your online character.
Additionally, with this announcement came the release of a 16-minute video. This is the 2nd "Battle Report" - you can
find the first one here. It lets the developers explain the on-screen action and give you a fantastic first-hand taste of what to expect. They describe it as a "giant cluster of joy" because they aren't sure how the enemy is going to act while they are recording this match. I admit, I watched the entire thing amazed at the detail and knowing that this game could potentially suck many, many hours away from my life when it's released in March.
