magazine is reporting that the new studio that Microsoft formed, 343 Industries, will be putting out a remake of
Halo: Combat Evolved for 2012. Using the
Halo: Reach engine, they are thinking the game is set for the 10th anniversary of the game and hitting the 360, of course.
Interesting that the Halo formed studios would be working on a remake of the original as their first project. I enjoyed the first game other than the Flood and the repeat of levels. If it were remade, I would hope the new game would mix up the level design a bit in the middle and later areas and do something more interesting with the Flood.
