Back in January, EA and Dr. Pepper
announced a partnership to provide DLC for EA games under every Dr. Pepper 20 oz bottle. Usually these last a couple months, have fixed titles and then its done. However, it looks like the companies will keep it somewhat fresh, as
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit for the Xbox 360 was recently added to the DLC mix before the promotion ends at the end of the year. Below is a list of the new vehicles:
-
Porsche Panamera Turbo - Unlock the Dr Pepper exclusive Porsche Panamera Turbo. This Panamera joins a long line of Porsche Turbo models with boosted power as well as including an extensive suite of equipment as standard. Particularly striking are the side air outlets behind the front wheels — paying homage to the Carrera GT. (This car can be used any time in freedrive, but for online play you must be in the Super tier.)
-
Porsche Cayman S - Unlock the Dr Pepper exclusive Porsche Cayman S. Six horizontally opposed cylinders define the Cayman S’s naturally aspirated Flat 6 and enable its mass to be positioned lower in the car. To reduce lift and to add to the overall performance and sporty feel the front has been restyled with enlarged air intakes. There is a constant interaction of convex and concave curves that create a style like no other. (This car can be used any time in freedrive, but for online play you must be in the Performance tier.)
-
Dodge Viper SRT10 - The Dodge Viper has always been the big gun of American muscle when it comes to engine size and raw power. With SRT in its name the Dodge Viper SRT10 also guarantees balanced performance and benchmark braking. Street and Racing Technology (SRT) worked with McLaren Performance Technologies and Ricardo, Inc. to develop an 8.4 litre V10 with more efficient breathing and a higher engine speed. (This car can be used any time in freedrive, but for online play you must be in the Super tier.)
-
Nissan 370Z Coupe (Z34) - Unlock the Dr Pepper exclusive Nissan 370Z Coupe. "Power, Passion, Performance – the Z story continues. New tech yet old school." The front engine rear wheel drive layout is the way a sports car should be. It's still low, it's still aggressive and now it's got boomerang tail lights. (This car can be used any time in freedrive, but for online play you must be in the Sports tier.)
