There will be a massive amount of sales going on this weekend so I'll try to keep my posts to a minimum. I did feel that this one deserves a little extra attention, though.
GameStop has been offering digital downloads for a while now but rarely have they actually caught my attention. That changes this weekend.
The Black Friday / Pink Monday
sale page is up and they've got some a nice variety of titles from 20-50% off. A few games that caught my eye are:
-
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit - $40
-
Fallout: New Vegas - $30
-
Just Cause 2 - $15
-
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light - $7.50
-
BioShock 2 - $10
I have been meaning to pick up Lara Croft and Just Cause 2 and these prices are almost good enough to make me jump. What sweetens the deal is the incoming patch that will enable online multiplayer for Lara Croft (
thanks, Shacknews). Have any of you used GameStop's digital download service? I'm anxious to hear what you think of it compared to it's biggest competitors.
