Really, who didn't think that Bethesda was working on an
Elder Scrolls V? Eurogamer has a tipster talking about the next game in the series. He says it's a direct sequel to
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and that the voice recording will be happening in the coming weeks. Of course, no confirmation from Bethesda yet.
You know, I wish it was the old days in some sense when you finished an RPG and you saw the name of the next game in the series in some instances. If I remember correctly, finishing
Wizardry VI: Bane of the Cosmic Forge let you know what was coming up next in the series. If I'm wrong, someone let me know but I thought you saw
Crusaders of the Dark Savant title at the end of Cosmic Forge. -Update- I guess I was mistaken as this
video on Youtube just showed that the adventure continues in Fall of 1991. I still found the space ship at the end of an RPG game kind of funny and the dialogue with the Black Dragon at the end just screams quality.
With all the accolades and sales for Elder Scrolls IV, a sequel is a given. Just like you know Bethesda has a Fallout 4 in the works.
