I would say that Scorpion is one of the more memorable characters from the early 90s version of Mortal Kombat, but that would be excluding many more that have similar claims to fame. Nevertheless, Scorpion is certainly an intriguing character to say the least (after all, how badly has the “GET OVER HERE” line been overplayed?), so it is no wonder that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios decided to feature him in this latest story video we are sharing today.
Check the video below for a glimpse at Scorpion and the moves and combos he will be performing when the game releases next year. One thing I have always appreciated the retro Mortal Kombat fighting game over others for has been the creativity of fighting style and sheer outrageous kill moves. It looks to be that that will be retained in the 2011 edition.
Scorpion has re-emerged from hell once again… and he is ready to battle. Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios are sharing a new video featuring Scorpion and some of his killer moves while he takes on an array of Mortal Kombat warriors. The video showcases some of his signature attacks as well as his ability to link special moves together to create more deadly combos.
Mortal Kombat is the most brutal installment of the landmark fighting game to date for release on the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft in 2011. The game is being developed by the newly re-named NetherRealm Studios, led by Mortal Kombat creator and creative director Ed Boon.
