It looks as if any and all UFC related games in the next couple of years will be courtesy of
THQ.
THQ has secured exclusive rights to the UFC license as it pertains to gaming through the year 2018. THQ has already created two stellar titles using the license, and according to UFC President, Dana White, they are about to deliver more. According to White,
“THQ has delivered the quality demanded by UFC and its fans with the first two Undisputed games and we are about to broaden the UFC brand experience among gaming fans through social and mobile apps.”
The rights included in the agreement give
THQ exclusive publishing rights for all major gaming consoles and iOS devices. I would imagine that we pretty close to seeing a major explosion in the amount of UFC products on the market...
