I am sorry to break this news to those of you who were still holding onto the hopes that Capcom’s
Super Street Fighter 4 would make its way to PC’s worldwide. According to the game’s producer, Yoshinori Ono, via a
4gamer interview the number one reason that the game is not being developed for the PC due to piracy concerns.
According to Ono-san, the only way that it could happen would be with the creation of a new, powerful copy protection solution. Since the arcade version of the game was developed on a DirectX based board (Taito’s Type X2), it could be easily converted to the PC if they wanted to... but there are absolutely no plans for it at this time.
Sorry!
