It looks like Sony has won another battle in the duel of exclusive demos as they've landed a timed exclusive for the Enslaved demo. The demo will be available on September 21st and will allow you to play through the first chapter of the game. No word other than "Coming Soon" for the Xbox 360 version of the demo. I'm guessing it will be before the October 5th release date but I wouldn't write that in stone anywhere.
Just a quick update to confirm that the downloadable demo for ENSLAVED™: Odyssey to the West™ will be available on PlayStation®Network on September 21 for North America. Fans that can’t wait to get their hands on the latest post-apocalyptic action adventure from Ninja Theory Ltd., will be able to play through the intense opening chapter from this highly anticipated game. The demo will first be available exclusively on PlayStation®Network on September 21. The demo for Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft will be coming soon.
Featuring influences and contributions from top music and film industry talent, ENSLAVED combines beautifully rendered graphics and captivating music with seamless animation and engrossing gameplay.
A selection of exclusive incentive items is available to customers who purchase the game from several participating retailers, ranging from downloadable content (DLC) to limited quantity retail packs that come bundled with the game and bonus item.
Additional premium post-launch DLC will be available after the game ships. The paid DLC will feature a side story starring Pigsy, the comical porcine character who helps Trip and Monkey in the main storyline. Players must have the retail game in order to access the DLC content. More details on this premium DLC will be shared in the coming months.
ENSLAVED will be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system on October 5, 2010. ENSLAVED is rated “T” for Teen by the ESRB and will have an MSRP of $59.99
