One of the more unpopular decisions with
Modern Warfare 2 was the removable of modding. I mean, modding gives PC games a longer shelf life and it really does enhance games for many folks. For
Call of Duty: Black Ops, we're going back to what made PC versions flexible.
The good news is Treyarch
is making it official that sometime after launch, they will open the game up to modding. Now, how long after is the question, but let's hope it's not too long. Also, the extent of how much you can mod the game's still being discussed, but at least there will be a way to do it
And, yes the dev console will be accessible without any hacking so that's great for the PC side of things.
