Activision’s DJ-themed music series will see its second installment released on October 19, 2010.
DJ Hero 2 will be released on all major consoles on that date. The announcement was made on the
official web site for the game. The sequel of the 2009 game will bring a new slew of features to the table that will take the series to an all new level. Some of the new additions to
DJ Hero 2 include the following:

Microphone support: while 2 DJ’s mix and scratch away at the tracks, a third player can now grab a microphone and sing / rap along with on-screen lyrics.

Party Play Mode: The game's mixes play themselves and or jump in/jump out to take control and play along without ever stopping the music.

New Multiplayer Modes: New modes including Accumulator, Checkpoints and Streakers let you prove who is the best DJ in the house.

Empire Mode: Empire Mode sends players on a journey starting out as a lowly warehouse DJ on the road to becoming the head of a major music empire. Unlock new perks and rewards with each step on your career.

Hero Feed: Challenge and track your friend's accomplishments, offline or online.

DJ using your XBL Avatar: In a feature exclusive to the Xbox 360 version of the game, players can use their own Xbox Live Avatar on screen in any mode of the game.
