Anyone who decides to download a pre-release of a game and play it online gets what they have coming to them. It's not the first time a Halo title was played early but if you somehow got your hands on
Halo: Reach, do yourself a favor and delete it or don't play it when your machine is plugged into the Internet.
Max Console has a
copy of an email from the Xbox Live team suspending one user's account. It's not just a timed suspension either as you will get a perma-ban for this.
Halo: Reach comes out three weeks from today so either wait three weeks for the game and pay for it or spend another few hundred on a new console and Live account if you get caught.
