Mark your calendars as Activision has set a date for their upcoming “re-imagining” of
Goldeneye 007 for the Nintendo Wii. According to a recent update of the developer’s release schedule, the title will be released on November 2, 2010. Nintendo narrowed down the date with
their release list yesterday, but Activision has narrowed it down even more.
The new version of the game takes some liberties for the sake of updating but is based strongly on the original Nintendo 64 title. While the basic storyline follows the original tale, it is told differently in order to fit more with Daniel Craig’s portrayal of James Bond. Plus, in a move that makes many gamers thankful, online play will be present in the game.
