EA is prepping a new package for their hit title
Battlefield: Bad Company 2. The “Ultimate Edition” was unveiled yesterday and looks to be the penultimate package of the game.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Ultimate Edition contains all of the previously released DLC on the game disc (including Onslaught mode), VIP content, limited edition unlocks, as well a copy of Battlefield 1943. The set is retailing for $59.99, which is just slightly less than the cost of all of the contents is they were purchased separately (main game now retails for $39.99, 1942 is $14.99, and Onslaught Mode sells for $9.99). It’s not a horiible deal, by any means, but I wonder if they would see marginally more success releasing it at $49.99.
