I’m personally not the biggest heavy metal fan, but I can imagine they’d make for great guitar riffs when playing Guitar Hero 5 or Band Hero. If you happen to enjoy heavy metal, and in particular Avenged Sevenfold, then you’ll be happy to hear that three of their tracks are now available for download on those two game platforms.
“Almost Easy,” “Afterlife,” and “Scream” are now available in full for 440 Microsoft Points/$5.49 at the PlayStation Store/550 Wii Points. You can also grab individual tracks for 160 Microsoft Points/$1.99 at the PS Store/200 Wii points. You can also expect these tracks to be forward compatible with Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock when it releases this fall.
The Guitar Hero music library goes metal this week with three songs from American heavy metal rockers, Avenged Sevenfold. The Avenged Sevenfold Track Pack includes “Almost Easy,” “Afterlife” and “Scream,” from their self-titled, fourth studio album.
The Avenged Sevenfold Track Pack is now available via Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 440 Microsoft Points, from the PlayStation Store for $5.49 and the Wii Shop Channel for 550 Wii Points. The three songs are also available as single downloads for Xbox 360 for 160 Microsoft Points, PlayStation 3 for $1.99 and Wii for 200 Wii Points each. The Avenged Sevenfold Track Pack will also be compatible with Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock when the game is released this fall.
