So the
headline reads that Kotick is frustrated with Xbox Live but you know it always has to do about money for him. He's frustrated with the business model that gives Microsoft the most benefit from DLC and so forth. Of course, he brings up the immense popularity of
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 being one of the biggest games on the network right now.
Even though he's made enough money from the game to throw lavish E3 parties and such, he wants more. I'd like to know where he gets the stat that 60% of those on Xbox Live is because of
Modern Warfare 2, but you can count me as one who is on there for many other reasons. Maybe he meant that 60% of Xbox Live subscribers own
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but even then there are
over 23 million subscribers from the last count and I don't think that there are 13.8 million copies of the game sold on Xbox 360 alone.
