Dear
Electronic Arts,
I have been a fan of yours for as long as I can remember, and I have played your NHL franchise since it existed. So it's not lightly that I ask you this:
Please stop adding features to your game. Recently, it was announced you'd be adding the CHL teams to your perrenial sports game of the year winner. I literally squeed at my desk at work (much to my own chagrin) when I heard that news.
Now you're talking about
adding NCAA Division I Hockey as the other route through which players can make their way into the professional ranks? Please stop and think about what you're going to do to my life! I'm a budding triathlete, I work full time, and I'm married. True, she eats sleep and breathes hockey too, but she gets a bit frustrated when I talk about the next planned stat increase for my Be A Pro character. Our first anniversary isn't long after
NHL 2011 releases, and I want her to be around for the 2nd anniversary.
Plus, there's that little game
The Old Republic coming out next year. I need time to play that, too.
PS. I take it all back, because this idea rocks almost as hard as the CHL addition.
PPS. Thanks Kotaku for the news.
