[Insert toddler temper tantrum here]
Why am I so upset? Because I understand DRM but personally* detest Ubisoft's latest method. It's caused me to avoid their recent PC products even though I'm anxious to play them. They have games available on Steam but still require a constant internet connection (instead of allowing the Steam client to handle DRM).
If you were planning on picking up
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands on PC, then keep reading about
a Steam special announced today. Gamers can pre-purchase
PoP: The Forgotten Sands and get
PoP: Warrior Within for free. That's
two games for $50. If you pre-purchase the
"Digital Deluxe" edition ($60), you'll get some extra content in addition to
PoP: Warrior Within and PoP: Sands of Time for free. Click here if you're interested.
That's a pretty good deal. It's almost good enough to make me forget the "constant internet connection required" mess. Almost.
