Hey, here's some good news for the next Call of Duty game.
Call of Duty: Black Ops will have dedicated server support according to Treyarch Studio head, Mark Lamia.
This was one decision that I really disagreed with for
Modern Warfare 2 so it's great to see that
Black Ops will be going back to the route that seems to work best in a PC setting. When playing on the 360, I get tired of the migration of server to another player and the timeouts that seem to frequent the system. I'm not saying that you won't suffer timeouts with a dedicated server but the experience is much more consistent than when trying to rely on some user's connection.
With more news like this along with the
co-op play, I'm getting more excited about the next game from Treyarch.
