Does this make any sense? To anyone? Nintendo will be including a special instructional DVD with the retail release of
Super Mario Galaxy 2. The DVD is meant to show new gamers how to use the Wiimote and nunchuk as well as how to get the most out of Mario and the starbits.
My main question, which isn’t a very original one, is why Nintendo decided to include the instructional video in a format that is incompatible with their system? I cannot imagine that it would have altered the production costs much in order for them to create a disc that could be launched from the Wii dashboard. Why make your consumers use another companies product in order to get the most out of your game? Oh well, it isn’t my decision and the title will still sell millions of copies and likely end up on the top of the year’s sales charts...
