Nier releases with a launch trailer today

The mysteries of Nier are now open to gamers in North America to discover as the game has just been released for the PS3 and Xbox 360. You’ve already heard the beginnings of the storyline including Nier’s journey through a disease-infested world for hopes of protecting his daughter. The other details are now set to you to uncover.

In the meantime – if you haven’t picked up the game – you can take a smaller glance at Nier in the launch trailer below. It shows off the gameplay, and takes a glimpse at some of the bosses.

LOS ANGELES (April 27, 2010) – Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of SQUARE ENIX® interactive entertainment products in North America, announced that the highly-anticipated Action-RPG NIER ™ is now available at North American retailers nationwide for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.



NIER presents the despairing story of a world afflicted by an apocalyptic plague and a father’s desperation to protect his daughter from the dark denizens of this frightening future.
