A game based on such an imaginative world as that of Harry Potter’s feels like it wouldn’t be given justice with the rigid figures of Lego blocks. At the same time, however, visuals aren’t the only quality that can instill a feeling of admiration for the creativity of a product.
While EA might have taken a more “realistic” approach to the visuals of their Harry Potter game franchise, TT Games might just take the cake for a more enthralling Harry Potter realm with the gameplay of
Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4. The behind the scenes trailer featured below of Hogwarts as presented in the game will let you catch a few glimpses at the sort of activities you’ll be undergoing. Although you can see the similarities of spell-casting and broom flying, TT promises an immersive experience to the game that releases June of this year for the 360, Wii, PS3, DS, PSP and PC.
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 will give gamers the chance to experience the magic and adventure of Harry Potter in a uniquely LEGO way. Playing as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley™ and Hermione Granger™, as well as more than 100 other favorite characters, gamers will have the opportunity to attend lessons, cast spells, mix potions, fly on broomsticks and complete tasks to earn rewards. Throughout the game, players will also have the freedom to explore iconic settings from the wizarding world including Hogwarts™ castle, Diagon Alley™, the Forbidden Forest and the village of Hogsmeade™
