Dead to Rights Retribution trailer showcases Shadow, the best friend to at least one man in the game (protagonist Jack Slate) and the worst nightmare to all the rest. Shadow has been an integral part of the series since the beginning but Retribution will be the first game that lets you play as the vicious K-9 unit. Check out the trailer, it’s pretty brutal. NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. today released a new trailer for Dead to Rights®: Retribution, a ground-up reinvention of the multi-million unit selling crime action series developed by Volatile Games. The new video themed “man’s best friend” puts a spotlight on ferocious canine Shadow, who is playable for the first time in the series.
Dead to Rights: Retribution thrusts players into a mature neo-noir crime drama as hard-boiled vice cop Jack Slate and his trusted canine ally Shadow. Dead to Rights: Retribution introduces new gameplay elements that unify the third person shooting and brawling genres for a brutal and relentless new action-driven experience. Introducing an innovative new hybrid combat system that seamlessly blends gunplay with hand-to-hand combat and AI partner, the game puts the full combat potential of a highly trained, highly agitated law-enforcement officer into players’ hands.
Dead to Rights: Retribution is rated “M” for Mature by the ESRB and will be available on April 27, 2010 in North America for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.
