A couple days back Nintendo World Report
sat down with Jason Vandenberghe, creative director for
Red Steel 2. They asked some good questions that you don't see in a lot of other interviews, such as the artistic influences behind the game and how the developers balanced the sword controls with the wide array of play styles that people bring to the game.
Jason is probably the most enthusiastic developer I've seen in years and he always gives great interviews--his excitement about his projects is tangible and he offers some great insights. It also helps that he worked on one of my favorite James Bond games, 2004's Everything or Nothing. The interview is a good read so give that a look, and check back for more Red Steel 2 coverage as the game nears its March 23rd release date.
