Also announced at yesterday's Nintendo Media Summit was the firm release date of
Metroid: Other M, which we
posted yesterday. The new installment of the Metroid series really intrigues me. Part of the reason is the fact that it is being developed by a company that really (REALLY) knows how to make an action game: Team Ninja at Tecmo, of Ninja Gaiden fame. The other aspect is that the game promises to make it special is the report that the game will allow you to move freely between a 2D and a 3D perspective during the course of your game. I really want to see how this plays out. Wow, Nintendo isn't pulling any punches thus far in 2010...
