The Xbox 360 isn't the only system bringing you the shooter genre in 2010. SideQuest Studios is preparing to unleash the sequel to their PSN shooting game Soldner-X in the second quarter of this year. Soldner-X 2: Final Prototype will launch exclusively for the PlayStation 3 within the next couple of months. The game takes players 20 years after the previously covered events, the Virus Wars and has them fighting for the freedom of the galaxy from the oppressive D'aarg. Soldner-X 2 will take players on a journey across 7 unique locales in full 1080P while testing the limits of your shooter genre skills. In addition to the popular high score attack mode, Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype incorporates a previously unannounced play mode. The new challenge mode aims to be simultaneously exciting and rewarding, adding plenty of replay value. Players are given the opportunity to revisit parts of the game and complete a variety of tough challenges to earn trophies, bonus items, additional credits and other unique rewards.
