While this is far (FAR) from being confirmed in any way, the Hong Kong gaming magazine Gamewave is reportedly preparing a story to reveal the portable version of
Monster Hunter Tri for the PlayStation Portable.
Silconera is reporting that the latest cover is advertising the reveal of the title in their latest issue, citing it to be scheduled for release later this year. While this is only a rumor, it is not a very far fetched one. The Monster Hunter series has always favored the PSP system and has seen (arguably) most of its success on Sony's portable. It will be interesting to see whether or not Capcom answers these rumors with some sort of statement this week as the rumor starts to spread. If this portable version of
Monster Hunter Tri does exist... I really want to see how it compares to the console original...
