My friend and I are huge
Joust fans and when we first picked up the Xbox 360 a few months after launch, that was what we played constantly. I mean we played that more than any of the launch titles or other XBL games. The Xbox 360 had a few Midway games at launch for purchase and I think I picked up every one that night to play online.
Well, now that Midway's
going through their little bankruptcy deal, it seems
all their games have been removed for purchase. The list of games affected are:
- Cyberball 2072
- Defender
- Gauntlet
- Joust
- Paperboy
- Robotron 2084
- Root Beer Tapper
- Smash TV
- Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
It's a good thing I just re-downloaded UMK3 as I hadn't at the time of me purchasing a new 360. Ugh, I hate to see things like this happen and if I should ever lose my hard drive due to a crash I don't know what I would do. This is one example for having a digital distribution system really sucks.
-Update- Re-downloading shouldn't be affected.. What I meant to concentrate on are new purchases.
