Another one of the titles that Microsoft is banking on for 2010 is
Crackdown 2. The first game was shoe-horned into our world thanks to the inclusion of the Halo 3 beta but ended up being a really good game after all. I know that I was one of those people who mainly bought the game for the beta access but ended up falling in love the Crackdown itself. Microsoft handed the development of the sequel over to Ruffian Games and is looking to pick up right where the original left off.
Crackdown 2 will offer up to 4 player cooperative (seamless) play as gamers reutnr to Pacific City and find that once thriving city has fallen into shambles as a result of urban-gang warfare. It will be the same Pacific City that we explored in the original, just evolved as a result of the downtown of the gang societies that have taken it over. The game is expected to launch in the next couple of months, sometime in June. Until then, check out some official screenshots of the game...
