After about a month of
fierce competition, Capcom has finally settled on the official digital cover of their upcoming
Final Fight: Double Impact thanks to the Color of Conflict contest. The winning entry, shown below, is the result of the hard work of Capcom Unity community member Chad Walker. Chad's entry in the contest earned its way into the final five entries that were voted upon by the public and narrowly beat out the competition, reportedly by just 16 votes. Not only is Chad now the joint creator of the game's official art (along with Alvin Lee who drew the original work), but he will also receive a ton of goodies from Capcom awarding his victory. I can only hope that other companies follow suit and open up their creative doors to the gaming public and give gamers the opportunity to partake in the creative process of the games we all love and support. Congrats to both Chad for his hard work and to Capcom for showing love to their community...
