DICE is still going the way of dedicated servers for
Battlefield: Bad Company 2, which I am very happy about. They've posted a
short blog post about the remote administration they have planned for the game.
They are creating a command console separate from the one that they use as developers for folks to administer their server with. You'll be able to connect to it via a network port to the game server. Now, it's nothing fancy and they aren't going to do a user friendly front end to it because, as they say, the community will do a much better job at it. Either way, I'm glad that DICE will make it easier for folks to administer their
Bad Company 2 servers so kudos to them for this decision.
