SEGA unveils Project Needlemouse to be….Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode 1

Yeah, total shock that SEGA will be releasing a new Sonic game, but that’s what all the hoopla has been about. Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1 was announced last night and will be all about speed in this new 2D adventure game built from the ground up. Very few details were released, but they do have a new official website that will count down as new details emerge. Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1 currently is slated for Sumer 2010 on XBLA, PSN, WiiWare and a mystery platform (I’m thinking iPad myself.)
