Appease the God of War, buy a slurpee...

 AdAge.com is reporting that Sony is teaming with both 7-11 and Mt. Dew to promote the upcoming God of War III.  The game doesn't hit store shelves until March 16, but starting February 1 you can purchase the official Kratos Fury Slurpee in one of four God of War III collector's cups at participating 7-11 stores.  The new flavor, Kratos Fury, is the brainchild of 7-11 and Mt. Dew, combing blackberry and lime flavored slurpees into a single drink fit for the Gods.  That is not all though, each cup will also contain a code that will allow players to access special downloadable content on the PS3, all of which is God of War III related.  Some of the content that is being offered includes behind the scene videos, PS3 system themes, desktop wallpapers, and special edition in-game armor.  The codes will also be available on Mt. Dew products, specifically 2 liters and 20 oz bottles.  You will be hearing plenty about this promotion soon as a full advertising and commercial campaign will accompany the promotion starting next week...
