Go to GDC, get a Droid or Nexus One with a purchase of an All Access or Summits and Tutorial Pass

Those attending the Game Developers Conference will have an opportunity to pick up a Motorola Droid or Google Nexus One phone for free. There is a catch though.  From the site you have to:

1. Be a paid, registered attendee to GDC 2010 with either an All Access or Summits and Tutorials pass. GDC comp attendees, speakers, press, and conference associates are not eligible to receive a device.
2. Register by the Early Bird Deadline of February 4th, 2010.
3. Register to attend the GDC Mobile/Handheld Summit, the iPhone Summit, or the Independent Games Summit (accessible by either the GDC All Access or Summits and Tutorials Pass).
4. Check the opt-in box to receive a device from Google and GDC during the registration process. Existing registrants may elect to return to your registration profile and update your opt-in selection. Existing registrants however, are not allowed to change their existing Summits and Tutorials selection.

So how much is it really going to cost you? An All Access Pass starts out at $1,400 if you buy before February 4th. For a Summits and Tutorial Pass, it's a more reasonable $550 which is about the cost of the phones without any contracts. So, if you were planning on attending and picking up one of those two passes before February 4th, you'll get a nice free phone for your efforts.
