Eliminate now available on the AppStore

ngmoco announced today that Eliminate, their FPS that they debut to select press back in September. Our own Adam Dodd was in attendance and was able to spend quite a bit of time with the game and came away extremely impressed. iPhone and iPod touch Gamers Battle Anytime, Anywhere in New Eliminate First-Person Shooter Game

San Francisco, Calif. – Nov. 2, 2009 – ngmoco (http://ngmoco.com), creator and publisher of games exclusively for iPhone and iPod touch, brings multiplayer death-match action to the App Store in Eliminate (http://eliminate.ngmoco.com/). The free Eliminate app combines the adrenaline pumping multiplayer action of first person shooters and the portability of the iPhone and iPod touch into one exclusive handheld experience.

In Eliminate, players can hone their skills in a multiplayer death-match against real players from around the world, at any time, from any location. Playable over 3G or Wi-Fi, Eliminate invites players to join ranked competitive games against other players in a variety of arenas. Players can send challenge invitations to friends using Push Notification and friends can join play groups with the tap of a button — whether they’re already in the game or not.

Eliminate puts players in the role of a futuristic weapons test combatant, operating with the experimental weapons facilities of Arsenal Megacorp. The goal is simple: Players test Arsenal Megacorp’s most advanced weapons systems by eliminating real player combatants. Every shot and every move is tracked, measured, and analyzed by Arsenal researchers as they strive to develop the world’s most potent weapons systems.

Players can expand their experience even farther with a robust leveling and upgrade system for six weapons, nine different armor sets and thirteen upgradable characteristics including cloaking, aquatics, rate of fire and zoom magnification.
