AVA goes into open beta

If you want to check out a new FPS game and don't have any cash you might want to check out Alliance of Valiant Arms from ijji which has just gone into open beta testing.  To get into to action head over to the game's website, sign-up, and then download the client application.

I've played a little bit of the game in the closed beta and it's not bad.  Some of the modes are a mixed bag but I did really enjoy the deathmatch part of the game a lot and fans of Counter-Strike will enjoy some of the mission based components.
