I like music. I like parties. You could say my ears perked up at today’s announcement of monthly
Beaterator music parties that will begin on October 16th. To attend, you’ll have to join the exclusive Listen@Home space in PlayStation Home.
To really be the life of the party, post up your musical creations to
Rockstar Social Club in the hopes that they will be picked to play live on one of the events.
Even with all the indecencies known to PlayStation Home and all other virtual encounters with other gamers, I remain optimistic about these social endeavors. However, there is an odd sense about “how virtual can you go without getting anti-social” that I’m sure many media theorists will start to question once they catch on in about 10 years. What do you think?
