Rock Band coming to your iPhone

Well, it looks like one of the followers was right on the news tease as EA Mobile announced today that Rock Band will be coming to the iPhone OS. Some time this month, the uber-popular band game will debut on both the iPhone and iPod Touch with 20 tracks from bands such as Foo Fighters, Beastie Boys, AFI and Blink-182.
At the end of the release it was mentioned that additional tracks WILL be available in the in-game Music Store, marking the first use of an EA Mobile title with the micro-transaction capabilities that Apple introduced with the iPhone OS 3.0.
I am really interested in seeing how well EA Mobile utilized the controls as compared to the way similar games have been done on the PSP and DS. Check out all the details after the jump and the first screens below:

If you can't get your band together over Bluetooth, synch up via Facebook on your own time. Use the in-game message center to check your band's status and get Push Notifications when friends invite you to rock out.

Rock out on guitar, bass, drums or vocals to MP3-quality songs on easy, medium or difficult. Play solo, or start a band with friends from around the world. Jump into Quickplay for casual sessions or take it on the road in Tour Mode.
