Warhammer Online's third novel to be released this fall

If you read the first two novels based on Warhammer Online, you’ll remember that they were written from the perspective of the Order. If you were looking to read more on Destruction, this coming fall will be your chance. Mythic Entertainment and The Black Library announced yesterday that the third novel in the WAR series is soon to be released and is titled Forged By Chaos.

The novel will be based in Bastion Stair, where Destruction will venture to locate the legendary Spear of Myrmidia and harness the power of the Winds of Chaos. But they are not the only ones in search of the Spear. The novel will surely be full of conflict and war (of course) while the Raven Host of Chaos, Treacherous Dark Elves, Orcs, and more are all on the search for obtaining the power. Written by C.L. Werner, his second in the series, the novel is sure to spark connection to the game and provide gamers/readers with a greater opportunity to delve into the storyline.

The third in a series of WAR novels, FORGED BY CHAOS will be available in all major bookstores and on the Black Library website in the fall of 2009.



FORGED IN CHAOS, by noted Black Library author C.L. Werner, provides an epic and gripping account of Destruction’s incursion into the infinitely massive and decidedly deadly Bastion Stair in search of the legendary Spear of Myrmidia. As the armies of Destruction continue their war upon the civilized lands, the Raven Host of Chaos is poised to march upon the Empire of Man in an unstoppable tide. To ensure victory against the Emperor’s Order of the Griffon, an elite party of Chaos warriors is tasked with the quest to find the Spear of Myrmidia and fully unleash the power of the Winds of Chaos. To work such awesome magic, the marauder Kormak must dare venture into the Bastion Stair, portal to the Realm of Khorne, and defy the Blood God’s wrath.
