No, the cute flightless birds from March of the Penguins aren't taking their revenge, Penguin United is just releasing a new gun peripheral for Wii, so you can come back out of your fallout shelters. Dubbed the Crossfire Pistol, this one is unique in that it isn't a shell for the Wii remote like the craptacular Zapper from Nintendo, or the highly respectable Perfect Shot from Nyko. Instead it functions as a Wii remote, just in gun-shape, so you can use it for pistol-heavy games like Conduit or, if you're feeling like Charlton Heston, you could play Wii Sports with it.

The gun has every button the Wii remote has, repositioned for pistol-grip comfort. I'm interested to see if you can attach a Nunchuk--if so it could hypothetically work with any Wii game.
