It looks like those wanting to use Facebook, Twitter, and Last.FM on their Xbox 360's will be forced to have a gold subscription. The folks at Ars
found the information buried within the Xbox 360 price cut press release this morning.
Sure it's another way for Microsoft to get people to shell out some additional money for a Gold Subscription and it increases the value of the Gold subscription for current subscribers but it does feel a bit odd to pay for a service that is normally free. I get that you're paying for the additional bandwidth, storage, and processing power of having the features built into your Xbox 360 but I'm guessing this is going to piss a lot of people off.
