Already, in just the first week, the
Darkest of Days demo has already surpassed 100,000 downloads, and counting. Watch the trailer below for a little idea of what this game is about, and then head on over to
the main site to download the demo, and see why this demo has been downloaded over 100,000 times in its first week.
Aaron Schurman, CEO of DoD publisher Phantom EFX, is thrilled with the
incredible success and reception the Darkest of Days demo has seen so
far. “The 100,000 demo downloads in less than seven days is a clear
indication that gamers want simple, violent fun,” Schurman said. “Who
wouldn’t want to bring big f*****g guns (BFGs) back in time to
historical battles like the Battle of Little Big Horn and the Battle
of Antietam to get these battles flowing the right way again? Let me
tell you, there is nothing like going back to Ancient Rome and mowing
fools down with an assault rifle.”
The Darkest of Days demo is available now for a free download at
www.darkestofdays.com/demo. The full version of Darkest of Days will
be released to various digital distribution networks and finer retail
outlets on September 8, 2009.
