Lionhead officially
announced Fable III today at GamesCom, something that really shouldn't surprise anyone that's been paying attention. In the game you will play a child of the character you played in Fable II which means you'll be stuck with some of decisions you made in the last game but with some wiggle room to change if you want to go in a different direction. The title is slated to be released sometime in 2010 with a probably drop date in the holiday season (if only to get away from every other major game that's being released in the first half of the year.
I was kind of hoping that Lionhead would move on and start a new IP but it looks like they are going to milk the franchise for another go-around. Of course they do have the slightly creepy
Milo stuff they are working on but I was hoping that we'd see another new IP from Molyneux after all the teasing on their website.
