DICE is working on Mirror's Edge 2

DICE's working on Battlefield 3 and now there's confirmation that they are working on Mirror's Edge 2 as well. Speaking with VideoGamer.com, Senior Vice President at EA Games Europe Patrick Soderlund has confirmed that a small team is indeed working on a sequel to the hit game. I thought Mirror's Edge was a unique take and I kind of liked the first person perspective on doing those crazy runs and jumps. As for a sequel, I'm hoping they flesh out the story a lot more and perhaps introduce some co-op action into the game. As usual, there's no comment on when they would like the game to be shipped.
