Hideo Kojima has done it again. When we think he's going to zig, he zags; when we expect him to zag, he
does zag because he knows that's what we expect. He's tricky that one, but his games are always amazing, so I forgive him. Speaking of his games, there's been a lot of speculation surrounding his next project, and the little bits of info that have been released sporadically by that evil countdown website have only added to the madness. Well, the countdowns have reached zero, and we got our news, and I definitely didn't see this coming.
Metal Gear Solid is making its way to the Xbox 360 not in the form of a port of the PS3's Guns of the Patriots, but in the form of a stand alone title called
Metal Gear Solid Rising. But our beloved Solid Snake won't be the protagonist in this title, instead he's been replaced by his silver-haired ninja companion, Raiden. I have no doubt that this game will be great, as all Kojima games are, and if we get to unleash even a fraction of the kickassery Raiden performed in MGS4 I will be more than happy. For more info I suggest you head on over to Konami's
website.
