Finally, we get
official word from Capcom that
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will be coming to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 via their respective online digital distribution service. The intro for the game can be
viewed here. Online play will be in of course so you can take on fighters from around the world. What's cool though is all 56 characters will be selectable on purchase of the game. That's right, you don't have to unlock anything as all the characters will be there for you to play from the onset. While Cyril
reviewed the PS2 version a while ago, the game will be based on the Dreamcast code base as that's the one that had the least amount of problems. Widescreen and some upscaling will be in the game as well. Finally, a demo of it is coming out next week on the PlayStation 3. Wow! I used to play it sporadically at the local arcade when it came out but I'm all for dwelving into the game some more with the upcoming release.
