Ahead of the full game’s release on February 24th for PlayStation®2
computer entertainment system, the XboxÃ’ videogame system from
Microsoft and PC, the single-player TOCA Race Driver 3 demo delivers a
pre-Christmas adrenaline-rush that puts players in the driving seat of
three of the game’s super cars. Players can get behind the wheel of an
AMG Mercedes C-Klasse, a Holden Commodore VZ and a wild K500 Pro Baja
Duneracer and take to the circuits of Hockenheim, Phillip Island and an
International Dirt Speedway.
The demo is just a taste of the wealth of racing content that’s crammed
in TOCA Race Driver 3. Featuring an incredible 120+ championships
spanning 35 different motorsport disciplines, players will be competing
in British GT (BGTC), Muscle Cars, V8 Supercars, DTM, 4x4 Monsters,
Baja Motocross, Formula Palmer Audi, Historic Grand Prix, Touring
Sports Cars, Formula 3, BMW WilliamsF1Â Team and many more specialized
championships, complete with race rules including flags, warm up laps
and full car set up.
Complete with explosive damage effects, head-to-head online multiplayer
racing and a game engine supercharged for a greater degree of
simulation, the game offers two main game modes. If gamers like their
racing for real, Pro Career mode puts them at the centre of the
motorsport world, ready to embark on careers across six specialist
motorsport disciplines – Open-Wheel, GT, Touring Car, Oval, Off-Road
& Rally and Historic. Alternatively race gamers can embark on a
World Tour, which puts them straight in the driving seat as they leap
disciplines and blaze their own trail through the game!
