This is great news, because I love me some Battlestar Gallactica, and from what I've seen so far in trailers and gameplay, Dark Void is shaping up to be an amazing action title. Capcom has signed Bear McCreary, the composer for Battlestar Galactica and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, to do the score for Airtight Games' upcoming vertical action title, Dark Void. This game looks very cool, and is doing some new things (which is always welcome in the generally stale action/shooter genre) namely its Vertical Cover System, or VCS. The VCS takes the all too common cover system used in the myriad of shooter games out there and turns it on its head, almost literally. Add these things to the game's jetpack wielding protagonist and a unique story that revolves around the infamous Burmuda Triangle, and you've got yourself a game with serious potential.
Dark Void will be out later this year on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
